With a strong commitment to bringing new content and keeping players engaged, Hello Games has been releasing major updates to No Man’s Sky. These updates introduce new community expeditions, which are time-limited events that allow players to embark on a shared galactic journey. Last month, the latest Singularity Expedition ended, signaling the arrival of a new major update.
As part of the celebration of the seventh anniversary of No Man’s Sky, Humble Games has premiered a new trailer, highlighting the updates that the game has received over the past seven years. The trailer concludes with a reveal of the upcoming Echoes update, generating anticipation for what new experiences it might introduce. Sean Murray, the mind behind No Man’s Sky, expressed gratitude for both the devoted development team and the player community, whose support contributed in making this new journey possible.
We knew this was the start of a journey, but never expected what a wild ride it would be. I’ve been working on this game for nearly a third of my life, and it’s been more successful than we ever planned or dreamed. It hasn’t always been easy, but the thing that has been our guiding star throughout has been the players and the community. Behind every update, every video, every feature and line in a patch note is a team that cares so deeply for this game.
