Genshin Impact 4.0 Update Information

Hold onto your hats, folks! Genshin Impact 4.0 is not just about a date and time; it’s about an entirely new experience! The 4.0 update is ready to wow us with a slew of new characters, events, weapons, and maps. And let’s not forget the much-anticipated new region, Fontaine!

Starting with the characters, get ready to welcome the sibling duo, Lyney and Lynette, our fiery Pyro Bow user and breezy Anemo Sword user respectively. And hot on their heels, we have Yelan, followed by crowd favorites Zhongli and Tartaglia. Not to mention, new four-star characters like Charolette and Freminet, who might also make a surprise appearance.

As the story unfolds in Fontaine, many more characters will be introduced. Focalors, Childe, Navia, Neuvilette, Charolette, and Chlorinde are all lined up to feature in the Archon quest running until 4.2. The Hydro Archon Focalors, a sword user, is set to make a grand debut in the 4.2 updates.

Beyond the shores of Fontaine, we’ll also be seeing new faces from Sumeru, Inazuma, Liuye, and Mondstadt. Intriguingly, Arlecchino, a harbinger of the Fatui, will make his first appearance in Fontaine.

Aside from fresh faces and grand adventures, the 4.0 update also brings in a plethora of exciting events. The headliner is the main 4.0 event offering a free Bennett to players with an adventure rank of 25 and above – who wouldn’t love a free character, right? Additional events include the Mega Meka Melee, Relic Records, Studies in Light and Shadow, Verdict of Blades, and Lay Line Overflow. There’s truly something for every Traveler out there.

And we can’t forget about the new battle pass weapons, each scaling off of Crit percentage. Meet the Scion of the Blazing Sun (Bow), Wolf-Fang (Sword), Talking Stick (Claymore), and Ballad of the Fjords (Polearm). Each one is ready to add more power to your arsenal.

Exploration in Genshin Impact 4.0 is about to get more thrilling. Fontaine’s exploration will not just be on the ground but underwater too. The region includes areas like a mysterious prison and a research institute, each released version-wise. Fontaine, true to its name, is set to enchant us with its visual aesthetics, from the Fontaine court for the rich residents to an intriguing underground region for the poor.

And last but definitely not least, get ready to take on two confirmed bosses – the formidable Emperor of Fire and Iron (sounds intense, doesn’t it?) and a dual boss aptly named Icewind Suites. Get those battle strategies ready!

But that’s not all. New features and upgrades will add more flavor to your Genshin Impact experience. Look forward to increased inventory storage limits, new artifact strongboxes, the ability to observe TCG duels, and brand new party animations.

And there you have it! The whirlwind of updates that Genshin Impact 4.0 is set to bring. Let’s all gear up for an epic adventure in the beautiful region of Fontaine! What are you most excited about? For me, it’s definitely the underwater exploration.
