While the horrible adventures of the Happy Tree Friends were once scarring children across the world, they’re now revered as a classic marker of the early internet. While they’ve been missing for a bit, the characters that players remember will be making a return to the internet with their new addition to The Crackpet Show rogue-like shooter on Sept. 27.

The announcement for the DLC came from The Crackpet Show‘s publisher Ravenage Games on Twitter, including a short trailer showing the characters from the animated series recreated in-game. Classic characters like the moose and the little squirrels, rabbits, and more. The official Steam page has also gone live, providing a detailed look at the characters in-game.

The characters from the gory cartoons of the early internet are coming back in faithful recreations, with players able to take on the pink skunk or yellow bunny and turn them into killing machines. It seems that only the characters are being imported into the game, with much of the worlds shown in the trailer not looking like anything from the episodes that have been released so far.

While many players were likely too young to be watching these cartoons when they came out, this DLC will likely be a welcome nostalgia trip for those kids who’ve now grown up. Players who already own The Crackpet Show will be able to purchase and download the DLC on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PlayStation systems on Sept. 27.
