Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the arcade beat ’em up and instant classic from developer Tribute Games, has just released another gameplay trailer for the upcoming Dimension Shellshock DLC. The new trailer focuses on the Foot Clan’s Karai, showcasing her various abilities in action.

The Dimension Shellshock DLC is slated to release on August 31st, 2023. It will be available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. You can watch today’s new Karai trailer on publisher Dotemu’s YouTube channel:

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge remains an absolute blast to revisit, well after launch. The upcoming DLC has already shown a couple of trailers since it was first announced in June, such as the anticipated Survival Mode, but today’s footage of Karai reveals quite a lot.

The new trailer also happens to follow the recent release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which the majority of fans have agreed is a very enjoyable new spin that neatly balances nostalgia with modern culture. The movie has surely fueled another generation of gamers to check out Shredder’s Revenge.

The new fighter Karai is important to the IP, and they’ve appeared in a couple of the animated shows since the early thousands. They’ll definitely be another integral part of reinvigorating the fans.

Karai’s moveset looks like enormous fun, with interesting electrical powers and a concentration on speed. They also have a good variety of abilities that will allow players to quickly close the distance and then deal punishing crowd control attacks. It’ll be interesting to see how Karai plays off of other fighters.

The design and animation itself also happen to look fantastic, with gorgeous visuals that aren’t too cluttered. The devs hardly need to release any more trailers, so this may be the last one so close to the DLC release.
