The Assassin Creed series is returning to its roots after a few larger series entries, with many players looking toward Assassin’s Creeds Mirage as a return to the classics. However, a new leak shows that at least one feature from the more recent entries will be returning, with one Twitter user claiming to have a screenshot of an in-game bundle.

In an exchange between some Assassin’s Creed fans on Twitter about the ESRB rating, the conversation turns to in-game purchases. In response, one user shares an image that appears to be taken off a screen, showing a fire and boney armor for Basim and some kind of demonic mount. This is an unconfirmed image, but the ESRB rating does seem to imply in-game purchases.

When the ESRB rating was released last month, many players speculated that it gave away a major plot point in that it mentions players will have to murder other members of the assassin organization. While not the first time this has happened, it could be the first time that an assassin in the series has specifically sought out their own.

It’s become a big feature in recent Assassin’s Creed titles to have cosmetic bundles and other items sold in the store that made the series feel much more like live service. This caused many players to become frustrated with Ubisoft and thus the developer promised to return to its roots. This may not apply to the microtransactions, however.
