THQ Nordic has just hosted its latest Digital Showcase, treating fans to a preview of their upcoming game lineup. One of the standout titles featured in the event was the highly anticipated Alone in the Dark, a reimagining of the beloved 90’s cult classic horror game.
During the showcase, fans were treated to two new trailers for Alone in the Dark. These new previews introduces Edward Carnby, voiced by the renowned actor David Harbour, and Emily Hartwood, voiced by prominent actress Jodie Comer, shedding light on the deep psychological narrative of this upcoming horror title. The first trailer sets the scene with Edward standing in a dimly lit room, conversing with an unseen character. He talks about his job, recounting how he was tasked with taking a client to visit her uncle at the eerie Derceto. Edward expresses a feeling of being inexorably drawn to Derceto as if it’s an inescapable part of his life. Amid his evident frustration, he mentions an unsettling recurring voice.
Similarly, Emily is shown in the same depicted room, conveying her thoughts and recounting her routine after the loss of her uncle a decade ago.
Apart from some narrative insights, the new trailers also highlighted David Harbour’s emotionally charged portrayal of Edward, along with Jodie Comer’s gentle yet powerful interpretation of Emily.
