Roblox BedWars announces the arrival of its eighth season, which introduces a selection of new weapons and upgrades through the return of the Blacksmith.
The Forge is the centerpiece of the Season 8 update, which allows players to develop new upgrades using Mastery Points. Players earn these points by leveling up and engaging in combat with their opponents. The upgrades unlock various types of gear, thereby increasing players’ capabilities on the virtual battlefield.
The core weapons to be introduced this season encompass a broad spectrum. The Dagger, a nimble weapon named Deathbloom, allows for quick, poison-infused attacks. On the other hand, the Scythe, dubbed Nocturne, enables multi-target attacks and helps users evade enemies. The season’s collection also features the Great Hammer, Paragon, which deals massive damage albeit with slower swings, and it offers a unique ability to heal teammates. The standard Sword has been maintained, with opportunities for damage-enhancing upgrades. Ranged attackers can move from a simple wood bow to the Headhunter, while the Armor upgrade boosts player health and resilience.
In addition to these weapon enhancements, Season 8 introduces a Battle Pass, providing access to an array of limited-edition content. Holding the Battle Pass also grants a 20% experience bonus during gameplay. The Battle Pass features various rewards, including four kits, three kill effects, four lobby gadgets, a series of emotes, several titles, and six crates.
The gameplay mechanics have been modified, and all players now have a starting health point count of 150. Other changes include global health bars and a new Match Level system.
As Season 7 comes to a close, Ranked Season 8 gears up to commence. Players who have achieved a Gold rank or higher in the previous season will receive an exclusive Victorious Davey skin next week.
To keep gameplay varied, a roster of free kits has been made available for the week, including Axolotl Amy, Freiya, Baker, and Jade, which is available for those at player level 20.
Additionally, Season 8 ushers in a range of environmental changes with a new sky and map atmosphere, in-match music, and a refreshing summer-themed lobby and accompanying music. This season aims to provide a revamped experience, with enhancements to gameplay mechanics, weapons, and the game’s atmosphere.
