What’s coming to Overwatch Season 6?

There’s a lot of new content making its way into the Season 6 of Overwatch 2.

Invasion Mode

This ain’t your regular Overwatch mission. Season 6 is rolling out PvE story missions. Squad up with your pals and prepare to tackle the menacing Null Sector forces that are wreaking havoc in places like Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, and Gothenburg. Trust me, teaming up with buddies and pushing back an invasion? Peak gaming moments right there.

Meet Ilari

The roster’s getting a new face! Ilari, the latest support hero, is joining the fray in Season 6. And since Overwatch is all about balance, other supports like Lifeweaver, Mercy, and Kiriko are getting some tweaks – buffs for some, nerfs for others. Here’s hoping your main got some improvements!

Battle Pass Goodies

The Season 6 Battle Pass is not just any battle pass. Unlock it, and you’re looking at permanent access to Sojourn, not to mention a snazzy new legendary skin for both Cassidy and Kiriko. Oh, and let’s not forget the boatload of other cosmetics that are up for grabs.

Flashpoint

Buckle up for this new game mode. Flashpoint’s all about PvP action, where teams duke it out for control over three pivotal points on the map. And speaking of maps, say hello to New Junk City and Suravasa. They’re not just new – they’re the most expansive maps Overwatch has ever seen. Oh, and for those looking to perfect their game? The Hero Mastery mode is your new best friend. Train, test, and climb that leaderboard!
