Pet Simulator X has released the second part of the summer update on June 24th, 2023. Among the key features is the summer world expansion, which introduces three new areas for players to explore. Rocky Cove, Paradise Falls, and Atlantis Ocean are now accessible via the sandcastle located in the Town area.
In line with this expansion, twelve new tropical pets have been added to the game, including three ‘HUGE’ pets – the Huge Tiki Dominus, Huge Pufferfish, and Huge Butterfly. These new additions provide players with opportunities to augment their pet squads.
The update also includes three new egg types with their corresponding golden variants. The Underwater Egg has the potential to hatch the Huge Tiki Dominus. For a limited time, the Butterfly Egg and Island Event Egg are available, each carrying the chance to hatch a Huge Butterfly and Huge Pufferfish respectively. However, the Butterfly Egg will only be available until 250 HUGE butterflies have been hatched.
An added feature to the Atlantis Ocean is the Giant Wave Chest. Players can utilize their new tropical pets to break this chest and accumulate Popsicle Coins.
Coinciding with the second summer update, the summer event has undergone a refresh, presenting fifty new rewards for players to earn, taking the total available rewards to 150. Event stars and quests have been reset, and players can acquire rewards like the Sailor Egg, Pirate Egg, Surfboard Hoverboard, and Summer Booth by completing summer quests. These rewards are exclusively available during the summer part 2 event.
A new Summer Island Event is also part of the second update. Upon reaching the Event Goal as a server, players can unlock islands where eggs carry increased chances of hatching ‘HUGE’ pets. This event is available every four hours starting at 12 PM CDT and is specific to the part 2 update.
The update introduces Exclusive Atlantean Egg pets, which includes the Atlantean Orca, Stingray, and Dolphin. You can also get the TITANIC Atlantean Jellyfish and two new HUGE pets – the HUGE Atlantean Orca and HUGE Atlantean Dolphin.
The update log also includes a series of tweaks and changes, such as the addition of an automatic setup feature for items in your booth, the incorporation of a click-to-drag option for inventory and machines on mobile, and a daycare notification that appears on the top of the screen upon login when rewards are available to claim. Players who own the bank can now deposit locked pets. Several fixes have been made, including resolution of the issue where the summer event would not start if the server restarts after its commencement, and addressing the problem with the quest where breaking pixel safes were mistakenly counted as vaults. The repeat button on the gold and rainbow machine has also been altered to not consume shiny if previously not selected, and the maximum daily farm limit in the diamond mine has been reduced.
