Pet Simulator X has announced its latest update, featuring several intriguing features that include a free-to-play Titanic, a claw machine, and the final area of the Summer Event.
One key component of this update is the introduction of a claw machine, richly filled with eggs and pets among other items. Four new pets make their debut with this addition, namely an Arcade Cat, an Arcade Dog, an Arcade Dragon, and a large pet dubbed as the ‘Huge Arcade Cat‘. Players can obtain these pets by acquiring the items inside pet bubbles within the claw machine. Notably, each egg features a numbered multiplier to increase players’ chances of securing a ‘huge’. For instance, an egg marked with 5x multiplies chances of winning a ‘huge’ by five times.
With the introduction of the claw machine, Pet Simulator X also launches a new currency, termed as ‘Claw tokens‘. Various methods exist for obtaining Claw tokens. These include summer event rewards, daycare rewards, rank rewards, and VIP rewards in the VIP area. Developers are also considering additional avenues for distributing these tokens. Players also have the option to purchase a pack of 25 Claw tokens for 400 Robux from the exclusive shop, providing a balance of free and purchasable access to tokens.

Moreover, the update unveils the third and final area of the Summer Event, which is a follow up to the previous two areas introduced in the last updates. The new area, known as the ‘sunny skies’ area, offers players a chance to explore and earn new rewards. Each area in the Summer Event comes with a set of new eggs, providing ample opportunities for discovery and adventure.
This update also reveals the first free-to-play Titanic since the Christmas update, which players can obtain with the Popsicle currency. However, the availability is time-limited for two weeks, and the odds of acquiring the Titanic Cat pet is relatively low.
Simultaneously, the Summer Event rewards have been refreshed, and new additions include the sand castle egg, introducing a new ‘huge’ called the ‘Huge Sandcastle Cat‘. Players also have the opportunity to acquire Claw tokens from these rewards.
Furthermore, the update brings news of season two Pet Simulator X merchandise going live in stores such as Walmart and Target. In a noteworthy twist, each purchase from this merchandise assures a 100% chance of securing a ‘huge’ pet.
Lastly, the update carries out modifications to improve the gaming experience. For example, the text color for listed pets changes based on their price to help players easily distinguish billion and trillion priced pets. Moreover, the game settings now include an option to disable event notifications. The issue with the Rainbow, Gold, and Dark Matter machine, which sometimes prevented players from repeating the process, has also been rectified.
